At 3seven9, we decided we wanted to start sharing some of the most relevant (and impressive!)  things we see every week for you. So, every Monday we’re going to pick out a little selection of our favourite new tools, designs, tips  and you-name-it and share the links. Enjoy!

We’ll be back doing this every Monday, so if you’d like to stay up to date with our recommendations, tune in each week!

New PM tool for developers to share

Sprint.ly is a new project management tool that allows your entire company to get involved in the development process. It provides a very easy way for developers to share a top-level view of what they’re working on, and get input from the rest of the team or even clients.

What makes it stand out for us is the beautiful design, the fluid well-thought out concept and most of all, how incredibly intuitive the user interface is.

Check it out for yourself! We’re definitely going to be looking into this one.

A social network to share only with a few loved ones

The new version of Path was released last week.  For those who think Facebook has got too big, Path is a social network where you can share your stories, photos and activities with only a tiny group of choice friends.

People have been drawn to how beautiful the interface is, how easy and cool it is to use (esp its photo-editing facility) and most importantly [in this age of vast public social networks like Facebook and Twitter] to the idea of only sharing your life- moments with your closest friends and loved ones.

Interesting to see how popular it becomes as it may indicate a shift towards using social media for more private sharing. Watch this space.

Google launch Youtube Analytics

Last week, Google expanded upon YouTube Insights to bring us some very useful metrics for our videos, displayed in a  familiar Google-Analytics type way.

You can now generate reports based on how popular your video is, where your viewers came from, their age, gender, location and even your audience retention  (how far your viewers get through your videos before getting distracted by something outside the window…!)

This is excellent news as the importance of analytics is ever increasing; Knowing your audience’s user journeys and how they engage with your content is invaluable for marketeers, so thanks Google!

This is how we know that 80.4% of our viewers were male and 74% of them watched half-way through the video (that’s approximately to the cake section!)

That’s it for today, folks. Don’t forget to subscribe below so you don’t miss What’s New For You next week!
